Ushering in week 3 of the 21 day challenge on my birthday feels so crazy because? I did it! Enabled by God, I did it! Me who was afraid, me who was insecure, me who was overthinking, me who was experiencing the worst imposter syndrome? I did it!

But it also feels like as I enter this chapter of my life, I am exactly where I’m supposed to be. I love doing this, I love being an employee of heaven, I love being a child of God serving her Father’s business, I love living in assignment.

You feel like alignment. You feel like courage. You feel like fulfilment. You feel like deliverance and healing. You feel like FINISHED WORKS!

I am a product of God’s mercy. All that I am, all my life encompasses, is evidence of His unending mercy. I am His evidence and I want to take to it the world that JESUS STILL HEALS, JESUS STILL DELIVERS, JESUS DOESN’T GET TIRED OF YOU, MISTAKES AND ALL HE STILL LOVES YOU & HE COVERS YOU and brings you back home in His gentle pursuit of your heart.

Take up that attitude this week, write down those crazy things, you’ll revisit them when they are fulfilled. WHEN not if.

Week 1 was good but tough for me, I know we’re doing something right by coming together to do this challenge because girl, the spiritual warfare? I’ve been sick on and off all week but we aren’t being deterred by anything this week! We’re ignoring the enemy’s devices this year, the way I’m ignoring my loud neighbours in this video and every other video to come! So…

One of the things I have committed to doing this y

One of the things I have committed to doing this year is holding space for ALL of me. All of my abilities, all of interests, all of my feelings, all of my dreams, all of my experiences. For so long I have felt like I could only be one thing at any given time, I boxed myself in because I thought “what will people say?”

But the truth is I am a young black woman, in her 20s, who loves & desires to serve Jesus, who is a creative, who is trying to figure a lot of things out along the way and this community is about making space for women like me.

It’s one thing to be black in this world, it’s one thing to be a woman in this world, it’s one thing to be a Christian in this world, it’s one thing to be navigating being part of this generation. And it’s a whole other thing to be all of those things at once. There are rooms and safe spaces for all of these groups individually, but not for the person who is an all in one.

Sis let’s hold space for ourselves in 2023, let’s create those spaces for other woman in 2023 and beyond. This is me holding space to explore other parts of my creativity. Day 2 of 21 #BecomingherinChrist21DayChallenge how’s it going on your side?
